Queer Anarchism: Arabs resisting pinkwashing

Saturday, 19 May
Time: 14-16h

“Queer Anarchism: Arabs resisting pinkwashing” is a timely topic at the intersection of queer politics, patriarchy, anarchy, neocolonialism and revolution. In this workshop, we will have a short introduction on the notions of “Arab queers” and “Queer anarchy” in the context of the unfolding Arab revolutions. The introduction will be followed by a group discussion to challenge established meanings of arabs, of queers and of anarchy.
